Read moreFrom the desolate frozen wilderness of the Arctic to the savannah plains of dramatic abundance in Africa, our small group safaris operate in some of the most exciting destinations in the natural world. Natural World Safaris is a niche travel outfitter specialising purely in the natural world, incredible habitats, and the wildlife that calls these remote corners of the planet home.
Introducing our small group specialist-led safaris for 2024; journeys into the extraordinary in the pursuit of up-close and personal wildlife encounters with like-minded individuals.
Our small group journeys bring together some of the leading experts in their field, from the world’s best photographers to highly respected naturalist guides. Typically we operate these trips as very small groups, with just 4-12 clients who share a common interest. Discover some of the extraordinary journeys we have planned for 2024.
Our small group expeditions are perfect for those looking to travel with like-minded people, and for the opportunity to join highly respected, and much sought after, specialist leaders; all experts in their field.
These trips offer the rare chance to travel alongside some of the world’s most prestigious wildlife photographers, renowned naturalists and highly experienced guiding teams, benefitting from their field-craft and expertise and the chance to listen first-hand to the remarkable stories they have to share.
We often get asked about group make-up on these expeditions. We find that we have a good balance of singles, couples and friends joining these departures.
On a number of our small groups, such as our polar departures, there is no single supplement if you are happy to share a room with a traveller of the same sex (we’ll pair you up). On trips where there is a single supplement we keep this as small as possible.
Our Natural World Safaris exclusive departures are limited to very small group sizes, allowing you to better connect and enjoy intimate wildlife encounters. Some of our trips, such as swimming with orcas in Norway, have as few as four people per departure so as to ensure each member of the group can spend quality time in the water alongside the whales. These trips with such small group sizes, or those that have very small windows for wildlife events, can be booked up years in advance. As a result, pre-booking is essential.
Our small groups also benefit from utilising the best, most experienced guides available, hand-picked by us. We maintain close relationship with our partners on the ground, from lodge owners to frontline conservationists, affording our clients access and opportunities that nobody else can match.
