Day 1, Maun – Moremi Game Reserve

Arrive at Maun airport in time for your afternoon flight to Moremi Game Reserve. Catch your first glimpse of large mammals from the air on your 30-minute flight into the Okavango Delta. You’ll be welcomed into camp by your guide and head out on your first game drive this afternoon.

Days 2 – 3, Exploring Moremi Game Reserve

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives through the flood plains, lagoons and woodlands. These diverse landscapes offer a home to an impressive variety of species of wildlife. This area is one of the best for finding the elusive African wild dog, as well as elephant, large buffalo herds, lion prides and an abundance of birds.

Day 4 - Moremi Reserve - Mababe Private Reserve

Depending on water levels, you’ll have the chance to peacefully float through the winding channels of the Okavango Delta in a traditional Mokoro canoe, offering a serene and immersive way to experience the delta’s rich wildlife and landscapes. After this tranquil journey, you’ll be transferred to the exclusive Mababe Private Reserve, where you can enjoy a leisurely picnic lunch en route, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of Botswana’s wilderness.

Days 5 – 6, Exploring Mababe Private Reserve

You’ll spend two unforgettable nights in the exclusive Mababe Reserve, where you’ll have the unique opportunity to explore the untouched wilderness on foot, getting up close to the natural environment in a way few travellers do. In addition to thrilling daytime game drives, you’ll also embark on exhilarating night drives, offering a rare chance to spot elusive nocturnal wildlife as they emerge under the cover of darkness. Day 7, Mababe Private Reserve – Chobe National Park

Today, you’ll embark on an exciting game drive through the arid, desert-like landscapes as you make your way towards the central Chobe region. Along the route, you’ll traverse areas known as cheetah territory, offering the chance to spot these sleek predators in their natural habitat. As you continue, you’ll pass through regions favoured by lions, where the possibility of encountering one of Africa’s most iconic predators adds to the thrill of the journey.

Days 8-9, Exploring Central Chobe

The expansive Savuti marshlands provide a breathtaking backdrop for some of the most dramatic wildlife encounters in Botswana. Here, you’ll witness large prides of lions that have uniquely adapted to hunt the formidable elephant, a rare and remarkable behaviour. Adding to the intensity, the marshlands are home to fierce predator competition, with hyena clans and swift cheetahs also roaming the area in search of prey.

Day 10, Central Chobe to Kasane

Journey along the river towards your final destination of Kasane, where adventure and relaxation await. Enjoy a delightful picnic lunch en route before setting sail on an afternoon boat cruise along the Chobe River.
