Experience the Kenyan wilderness in the private Naboisho Conservancy. Covered in savannah grassland, acacia plains and rocky hills, this diverse habitat supports a whole host of wildlife including giraffe, elephant, lion (the highest density in the area), and cheetah, as well as hippos and huge crocodiles lazing in the river. There is also a growing leopard population, with 7 resident leopards including a cub in the area.

Day 1 - Arrive Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by one of our representatives who will drive you to your accommodation, Tamarind Tree Hotel. This evening you will have a welcome dinner to meet the rest of the group. (D)

Day 2 - Nairobi - Naboisho Conservancy

This morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Nairobi Wilson Airport to catch your internal flight. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your camp, surrounded by beautiful plains and waterholes full of wildlife. (B, L, D)

Days 3 - 7 - Naboisho Conservancy

Spend the next five days on early morning, late afternoon and night game drives in the Naboisho Conservancy. Covered in savannah grassland, acacia plains and rocky hills, this diverse habitat supports a whole host of wildlife including giraffe, elephant, lion and cheetah. (B, L, D)

Day 8 - Naboisho Conservancy - Nairobi

This morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to the Ol Seki Airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi Wilson. On arrival you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you will say goodbye to the group and head for your onward flight. (B)

A classic tented camp, situated along the banks of the Olmorjoi River within the exclusive Mara Naboisho Conservancy, a prominent part of Kenya’s renowned Masai Mara ecosystem. Set against the backdrop of a captivating acacia tree canopy, this safari camp comprises of ten spacious and comfortable tents that seamlessly blend with the natural surroundings. Each tent features an en-suite bathroom with modern amenities, including a flushing toilet and hot water safari shower. You will have your own private veranda, offering sweeping views of the open plains, equipped with a day bed for relaxation during the heat of the day.

Staying at Encounter Mara provides the opportunity for both day and night drives within the exclusive conservancy, celebrated or its remarkable game density compared to the adjacent Masai Mara. With fewer camps and vehicles in the vicinity, you can look forward to sharing wildlife sightings with fewer visitors.
