Day 1: Arrive San Jose

On arrival in San Jose, you will be met by our local representatives and privately transferred to Finca Rosa Blanca where you can relax, recuperate from your flight and look forward to your imminent adventures.

Day 2: San Jose - Tortuguero

This morning you will be collected by private transfer from San Jose, driving through the spectacular Braulio Carrillo National Park, you’ll continue through banana plantations and to the sandy pier at La Pavona. A two-hour shared boat ride on the river will take you to your lodge.

Day 3: Tortuguero National Park

Lush jungle foliage lines the riverbanks where you might be able to see spider, howler and capuchin monkeys, migrant birds, sloths, crocodiles, caimans, river turtles and iguanas. Elusive jaguars also live in the area, so you might be treated to a sighting on your lucky day!

Day 4: Tortuguero - Arenal & Hot Springs

After a final breakfast overlooking Rio Tortuguero, you will be transferred to the nearby airstrip for your 25-minute shared flight to La Fortuna, where you will met by your driver who will transfer you (private) to your hotel. This afternoon, relax and unwind in the EcoThermales Hot Springs.

Day 5: Caño Negro & Río Frío Boat Trip

Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge has a great variety of resident and migratory birds, four species of monkeys, as well as three-toed sloths. Includes bus transfer, village visit, a three-hour floating safari with a bilingual guide, followed by a typical Costa Rican lunch.

Day 6: Sky Adventures

Explore the tree tops from a different perspective. The slow-paced 20 minute Sky Tram gondolas soar smoothly, offering impressive views of the rainforest, the Arenal volcano and the lake. Enjoy a walk along the hanging bridges followed by the exciting canopy tour or Sky Trek.

Day 7: Arenal - Manuel Antonio

After breakfast you will be privately transferred to the Pacific coast at Manuel Antonio. The journey should take around 4 hours. Upon arrival and after checking in to your hotel, the day is yours to relax and enjoy the surroundings and scenery.

Days 8 - 9: Manuel Antonio

The only national park in Costa Rica where it is possible to see all four endemic species of primate, and a great place to spot sloths in the wild, both inside and outside the perimeters of the park itself. Surrounding the park itself there are pristine beaches and coastline.

Day 10: Manuel Antonio National Park - San Jose

Today you will be privately transferred back to San Jose, a journey of approximately 3 hours 30 minutes.
