Botswana Photographic Safari

SMALL GROUP WITH Karim Iliya

Experience the Botswana wilderness with acclaimed wildlife photographer Karim Iliya as your expert guide, lending his expertise and assisting you in producing a collection of truly breath-taking images. Stay in two of African Bush Camps’s renowned safari camps, with some of Botswana’s finest guiding. This safari includes two scenic helicopter flips, fantastic for aerial photography.

Almost 30% of Botswana's land is a protected area and the country's commitment to its wildlife is unsurpassed; being home to some of the world's most endangered species such as the elusive African wild dog. Discover wildlife within the lagoons, open grass plains and woodland forests of the Khwai Concession. Listen out at night for the saw-like grunt of a leopard or the deep bone trembling roar of lions, and explore some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.

Your Photographic Guide

“Photography lets me see the Earth in a new way, where I take my time looking at the details that you don’t usually see, and are difficult to process so quickly. Beyond anything I could have dreamed of, in the next few years, it will take me onto the largest rocket ship that has ever flown, off our planet to document the first civilian trip to the moon.”

Your Accommodations

Linyanti Expeditions

Linyanti Expeditions is a small and intimate camp, featuring just 6 tents to ensure a personalized experience for all 12 guests. Each tent is ground-level and comes with an ensuite bathroom located at the rear, reminiscent of the original expedition camps with features like bucket showers and toilets. The camp consists of two main tented areas. The first serves as the primary dining space and includes an open fire where all the cooking is done, allowing guests to witness the preparation of their incredible meals. The second main tented area provides guests with a relaxing space to enjoy a book while taking in the stunning views over the Linyanti wetland.

Khwai Lediba

Indulge in a breathtaking safari experience at Khwai Lediba on the banks of the Khwai River. Here you’ll witness the abundant wildlife of Moremi National Park, the oldest protected section of the Okavango Delta. Look out for lions, leopards, elephants, and giraffes roaming free in their natural habitat, all while immersed in the beauty of the African wilderness. You’ll have the opportunity to try many exciting activities on offer such as morning, afternoon, and night game drives, as well as walking and mokoro safaris (depending on water levels), allowing you to get up close and personal with the incredible wildlife of the region.
