Arijiju House Kenya

A Private Sanctuary

Arijiju is a luxury, private exclusive-use retreat. Perfect for hosting family and friends and combining a wildlife adventure with relaxation and wellness. Tucked into the forest hillside within the true wilderness of Laikipa, Arijiju is virtually invisible and blends discreetly into the landscape.

Arijiju's design is inspired by Ethiopian monasteries, using both local raw stone and timber. This is complemented by the vast arched windows that create an abundance of natural light. Each of the five suites boasts an equatorial light sunrise view.

Arijiju works in harmony with the reserve and ensures the tourism funds gets put back into long term conservation and the local community. A stay at Arijiju supports lion research projects, elephant migration and the protection of the black rhino. Powered by solar energy, Arijiju aims for sustainbility by harvesting rainwater and is free of plastic water bottles.
