Located where the romantic ‘Ngong Hills’ scenes were filmed in Out of Africa, the inspiration from this camp has been drawn from this classic safari era, but with fresh, contemporary design. Angama’s location is almost unbeatable for prime game viewing, either out on safari or from your tented suite. - Angama Mara is made up of 2 camps each with 15 exclusive tented suites, strategically placed for you to have unobstructed views across the plains from the 11 metre, floor to ceiling glass windows.
- The tented suites feature a super king bed, drinks cabinet, writing desk and an ensuite bathroom with a double basin vanity and large bathtub.
- Angama features a 12-metre rim-flow swimming pool with views across the Mara, and a fitness center.

What to Pack for Safari
It is best to pack as light as possible for safari; limit baggage to two items per person and always use soft bags rather than suitcases. In specific cases i.e. for internal flights, luggage may be limited to 15kg per person. Most hotels and lodges have laundry services, so an excessive amount of clothing should be unnecessary.
