Mara Plains Camp is located in the Masai Mara Reserve within the 100,000-acre Olare Motorgori Conservancy. Accessed from Nairobi by an hour's flight to the Ol Kiombo airstrip and then a 30-minute game drive to the camp.

Great Plains Conservation protects endangered species and has planted more than 2000 trees to help bring back the indigenous trees of the Mara and regenerate the ecosystem.
