I work as the Operations Team Leader at NWS, helping the Destinations Specialists with creating unforgettable trips. My background is in hospitality, but I’ve always had a love for travel and studied Geography and International Development at University.
What is your favourite destination?
My favourite destination I’ve been to is Peru. I had so many amazing experiences while I was there, topped off by going up to Machu Picchu for sunrise. My favourite animal is a Meerkat, ever since I watched Meerkat Manor when I was younger.
If you could do just one NWS safari, which one would it be and why?
I would love to go to Madagascar to see the lemurs as well as some amazing marine wildlife, I think the Madagascar & Mauritius Island Hopping Safari would encompass both of these in an amazing way, alongside the experience of zip-lining through the forests in Southern Mauritius.
What do you love most about Africa?
I love the sheer diversity of Africa as a continent, you could be on grassy open plains, tracking mountain gorillas, free diving with whale sharks or relaxing on a beach.
Do you have any travel habits or rituals?
Anywhere I go I collect some of the local currency and some stamps and also try to send a postcard back to myself to see the post stamps it collects.
Why do you travel?
I love to experience new cultures and ways of life and of course amazing food. I also love getting involved in activities I would never do in day to day life, such as kayaking, snorkelling and wildlife encounters.
