MS Sjoveien

Intimate Luxury Ship

The M/S Sjøveien ("Seaway") is a beautifully restored expedition ship that blends classic maritime charm with modern comforts. Built-in Bergen in 1964, it originally served as a training vessel and later for the Norwegian Coast Guard before being transformed in 2017 into an exclusive Svalbard passenger ship. With spacious wooden decks, elegant details, and a wood-fired hot tub, it offers a unique mix of nostalgia and luxury, perfect for Arctic exploration.

Accommodating just 12 passengers in eight en-suite cabins, M/S Sjøveien ensures an intimate and personalized adventure. Guests enjoy delicious meals in the dining area, engaging lectures in the lounge, and Zodiac excursions led by expert expedition guides. Its small size and open bridge policy create an immersive Arctic experience, making every journey truly unforgettable.
