Giancarlo Gallinoro

Giancarlo is an adventurer, nature photographer, videographer and educator from Italy. Drawn to cold places from a young age, he has been working in the Arctic, Antarctica and other high-latitude regions since 2017. With his work, he strives to instil awe of the natural world and to inspire people to take action to preserve it.

Over the years, Giancarlo has taken on a variety of roles, ranging from expedition guide, photographer and educator on board vessels in the polar regions, to content creator for nature conservation and rewilding organisations, to cinematographer and drone operator on nature documentaries, to photography workshop leader.

With nature conservation being his primary focus, Giancarlo is also an accomplished visual effects artist and teacher with extensive experience in the film industry.
