Big Game & Gorilla Trekking Safari

Kenya & Rwanda

This is the absolute best of East Africa; from the gentle rolling plains of the Masai Mara, which teem with over four hundred animal species. In Rwanda you’ll trek the verdant green rainforest in search of critically endangered mountain gorilla.

Start your trip with a stay in the beautiful plantation style hotel in a leafy suburb outside of Nairobi city. Fly to the exclusive Mara North conservancy in an intimate camp renown for outstanding guiding. You’ll benefit from a dedicated guide and spotter to seek the wildlife you want to see. In Rwanda you’ll have time to take in some history in Kigali before you head to Volcanoes National Park. With just over 1,000 mountain gorillas left in the world, this is an awe-inspiring experience to see these impressive primates at close range.

Why you'll love this trip?

  • Meet the Mountain Gorillas of Volcanoes National Park: Search the dense jungle for habituated groups of mountain gorillas. Approximately three hundred and eighty gorilla inhabit this rainforest, and your trek will take you through their mountain habitat as you look for their Silverback leader, whom the rest of the group follow.
  • Contribute to Wildlife Conservation: By staying a private conservancy your fees will go back to the local Masai communities of Kenya and preserving the 80,000 acre habitat for the wildlife. Your gorilla trekking fees all go towards the conservation of their habitat, anti-poaching efforts and medical care.
  • Private Vehicle and Guide: Enjoy the flexibility of having a private vehicle, guide and spotter throughout your stay at Serian Camp. Tailor your game viewing to your interests and schedule, ensuring an exclusive and unforgettable safari experience.
