Experience the thrill of the Kalahari Desert and Makgadikgadi Pans on this unique quad biking adventure. Starting at Jack's Camp, you’ll meet meerkats, search for Kalahari lions and desert-adapted wildlife, and embark on exciting game drives. Over days 3 and 4, you’ll set off on an exhilarating quad biking journey to the Lost Island of the Baobabs, where you’ll sleep beneath the stars, fully immersed in the remote wilderness. Your final day takes you back to Jack’s Camp for a relaxing dip in the pool before your return flight from Maun. This six-day adventure blends luxury and raw nature, offering a once-in-a-lifetime exploration of Botswana’s wild landscapes.
Day 1, Maun – Makgadikgadi Pans
Upon your arrival in Maun, your adventure begins as you board a light aircraft for a scenic flight over Botswana’s vast wilderness to the Makgadikgadi Pans. As you soar above the breathtaking landscapes, take in the sprawling salt flats and ancient desert below. Upon landing, you'll be welcomed and transferred to the legendary Jack’s Camp, where you’ll settle into your luxurious tent, surrounded by the unique beauty of the Kalahari. Enjoy a relaxing evening at camp, soaking in the atmosphere and preparing for the exciting adventure that lies ahead.

Day 2, Exploring the Makgadikgadi Pans
Meet one of the few habituated mobs of meerkats in Africa, a rare and delightful opportunity. You’ll head to their burrow early in the morning to watch as they emerge to warm themselves in the sun. You’ll then embark on game drives through the Makgadikgadi Pans, searching for a variety of desert-adapted wildlife. Keep an eye out for springbok grazing on the sparse vegetation, the elusive Kalahari lion stalking its prey, brown hyenas scavenging for food, and other fascinating species that thrive in this harsh but beautiful environment

Days 3 – 4, The Lost Island of the Baobabs
Today, you’ll set off on an exhilarating journey by quad bike into the vast, otherworldly wilderness of the salt pans, where the horizon seems to stretch on forever. Your destination is the Lost Island of the Baobabs, a mystical place steeped in ancient power and ceremony, as revered by the local Bushmen. Here, you'll experience the raw beauty of nature as you fly camp beneath a never-ending blanket of stars, with nothing but the sounds of the desert to accompany you—a truly magical and remote experience that connects you deeply with the wilderness.

Day 5, Jack’s Camp
Today, you’ll embark on one last thrilling ride through the expansive desert, taking in the breathtaking scenery as you quad bike back to Jack’s Camp. The familiar landscape will offer a chance to reflect on the incredible adventure you’ve had.
Upon arrival, reward yourself with a well-earned dip in the camp’s refreshing pool, a perfect way to unwind after the day's journey.

Day 6, Makgadikgadi Pans – Depart Maun
Today marks the end of your incredible adventure as you board your light aircraft for a scenic flight back to Maun. As you soar above the stunning desert landscapes one last time, take in the views and reflect on the unforgettable experiences you've had. Upon arrival in Maun, you'll have time to prepare for your onward journey, ensuring a smooth connection with your international flight home. Though your time in Botswana may be coming to an end, the memories of this extraordinary trip will stay with you long after you return.
