Arrive at Maun airport in time for your afternoon flight to Moremi Game Reserve. Catch your first glimpse of large mammals from the air on your 30-minute flight into the Okavango Delta. You’ll be welcomed into camp by your guide and head out on your first game drive this afternoon.

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives through the flood plains, lagoons and woodlands. These diverse landscapes offer a home to an impressive variety of species of wildlife. This area is one of the best for finding the elusive African wild dog, as well as elephant, large buffalo herds, lion prides and an abundance of birds.

Depending on water levels, you’ll have the chance to peacefully float through the winding channels of the Okavango Delta in a traditional Mokoro canoe, offering a serene and immersive way to experience the delta’s rich wildlife and landscapes. Today, you’ll embark on an exciting game drive through the arid, desert-like landscapes as you make your way towards the central Chobe region. As you continue, you’ll pass through regions favoured by lions, where the possibility of encountering one of Africa’s most iconic predators adds to the thrill of the journey.

The expansive Savuti marshlands provide a breathtaking backdrop for some of the most dramatic wildlife encounters in Botswana. Here, you’ll witness large prides of lions that have uniquely adapted to hunt the formidable elephant, a rare and remarkable behaviour. Adding to the intensity, the marshlands are home to fierce predator competition, with hyena clans and swift cheetahs also roaming the area in search of prey.

Journey along the river towards your final destination of Kasane, where adventure and relaxation await. Enjoy a delightful picnic lunch en route before setting sail on an afternoon boat cruise along the Chobe River. As you glide through the water, keep an eye out for the majestic sight of a herd of elephants crossing the river—an unforgettable spectacle as they bathe and play.
